Daniel Responds to Consumer Magazine NZ Article Regarding his Options Course

In 2002 Consumer Magazine in New Zealand wrote a negative report on Daniel Kertcher. There are, of course, two sides to every story. Despite the name, Consumer is not known as an unbiased publication. It’s a private magazine, with a private agenda, and not a so-called consumer watchdog.

After the Consumer article, ABC’s The 7:30 Report picked up the story and ran a piece on their show. They mainly spoke to the Consumer journalist and also showed a brief portion of the Platinum Pursuits video training content, without our approval, and carefully taken out of context. The main thrust of The 7:30 Report story was to question whether Daniel Kertcher could be making the kinds of high returns through trading that he claimed. Well, Daniel sent them his broking account records to prove it, and while they couldn’t find anything wrong with this evidence (they very briefly mentioned it during the show and it appears in the transcript) they chose not to focus on this proof. It’s all in the spin.

One of the most important things that anyone under media siege can do is ensure that their side is heard. The allegations made against Daniel Kertcher can be strongly refuted. Rather than believe the article that Consumer magazine wrote about him, Daniel appreciates the fact that you have decided to hear his side of the story.

Thank you for taking the time to read this reply. I appreciate the fact that you have decided to hear my side of the story, rather than just simply believe the article that Consumer Magazine NZ wrote about me.
